About the Books Used

Each persimmon is made using reclaimed books that were destined for landfill, giving the pages a new life as a beautiful handmade sculpture.

While I try to avoid books with obvious inappropriate content, I have not read every book used, so there may occasionally be language or themes within the pages that some people may find unsuitable.

All of our fruit sculptures are handmade in our small studio in Northamptonshire, using reclaimed books and traditional hand-cut techniques.
