How It Started
I’m Lara, the maker behind The Paper Apple Co.
I studied Fashion Design and Textiles and later worked with Vivienne Westwood, but my love of books and making eventually led me down a different path.
In 2013, working from my home studio in Creaton, Northamptonshire, I began transforming books into sculptural paper gifts. What started as a small, personal project has grown into an established small business, shipping worldwide and trusted by customers for over 12 years.
